The project included the building of the followings: three schools, one breast feeding area, one prayer area, friendly areas for both men and women and one community service building. The total refurbishment of 8 old buildings belonging to an army base was needed to achieve the project. Only the foundations and external walls were conserved. Works included demolitions, reinforcement of foundations, construction of new horizontal reinforced concrete bases, replacement of 5 roofs, construction of new walls, isolation, plastering (internal and external), tiling, marble coverings, painting, etc.
Due to the urgency of the situation (these areas were needed for the refugees’ comfort before the end of autumn), KMB Constructions concluded all works in 2 months’ time.
